Did you know Western Bagel bakes long bialy sticks fresh daily? That’s right! Our bakers make them fresh in our Van Nuys bagel factory.
Unlike our bagels, our long bialy sticks do not go in the kettle. Instead, they go straight into the oven for about 7 to 8 minutes, and they come out perfectly toasted with a delicious, crunchy shell.
Our long bialy sticks are made from our classic smooth Western Bagel dough recipe. Small chunks of dough are then rolled and stretched out into sticks, and our bakers roll them in dehydrated onion flakes and poppy seeds.
Once the dough has expanded and cooled down, our baker can start baking them in our oven!
