At Western Bagel, we like to think of ourselves as festive! With one of the most unique holidays coming up, St. Patrick’s Day, we wanted to remind everyone how fun being a Bagel company can be! Due to our roots in New York and being the first Los Angeles Bagel company for almost 70 years (EST. 1947), we have a few traditions that we like to share each year. In the past, we have done purple and gold-colored bagels but it doesn’t stop there! Hint we also love America’s favorite

For a few days each year during the week that St. Patrick’s day falls on, our retail stores will be selling our famous green bagels, Bagelettes, and hand-made cream cheese! That’s right Western Bagel fans, you can now have a bagel and celebrate the holiday.

Western Bagels are hearth-baked and kettle boiled, the traditional way. 1986 was the first time we started the St. Patrick’s Day Bagels at our flagship locations: Woodland Hills, Van Nuys, Westlake.

Not only will there be Green Bagels, but there will also be Green Cream Cheese. This combo is the ultimate defense to the famous no green pinches. These bagels will go on sale on March 14th and the promotion will end on St. Patrick’s day the 17th. Van Nuys will have them starting the 15th!
